Reflection On Florence Book Cover

Last week, we had done some research on Florence; a drama. At the same time, we had been asked to make a book cover of that play. It was such an enjoyable assignment to be done. We searched on the black and white people image in the internet and we found out one that is attractive enough and brings meaningful explanation to our book cover. We learnt that the color, font and the chosen images play an important roles in resulting an excellent  book cover. With the help of all the compliments given by our lecturer, we hope that we can improve ourselves in the next task.

We’ve been asked to make a book cover of a play “Florence” by Alice Childress. For me, the best book cover must amaze the readers and attract their attention to read the book. The book cover ought to reflect that one idea clearly. As for our book cover, we can see black women which express the mood and overall tone of the play, different colors that bring different meaning and also the font. We learned that the chosen of the images, color and font are important for a good result of a book cover. Hope we can improve ourselves next time. >.<
